Our Philosophy
We believe the best design doesn't compete with nature—it frames it. Our buildings are intentionally modest, allowing the redwoods and the Pacific to remain the stars.
Cedar siding weathers to silver. Floor-to-ceiling glass dissolves the boundary between inside and out. Stone fireplaces anchor each room in warmth.

Materials
Sourced from sustainable forests in the Pacific Northwest. Left untreated to weather naturally to a soft silver-gray that mirrors the coastal fog.
Local stone quarried within 50 miles. Each fireplace is unique, built by hand with stones selected for their shape and character.
High-performance, low-e glass that maximizes views while maintaining thermal efficiency. Disappears at the edges to bring the outside in.
Interiors
Our interior philosophy is simple: fewer things, better made. Each piece in our rooms serves a purpose, and brings pleasure in its use.
Beds dressed in crisp white linen. Hand-thrown ceramics for your morning coffee. A single perfect chair positioned for the view.
The palette is restrained—warm whites, soft grays, touches of black and brass. A backdrop that lets the changing coastal light paint the rooms throughout the day.
Sustainability
Solar panels, battery storage, and geothermal heating mean we'll generate more energy than we consume.
Rainwater collection, greywater recycling, and native landscaping that needs no irrigation.
One percent of all revenue goes to local redwood forest preservation and restoration.
